Working with us

At present Tilicho NGO is operative in Nepal, in the District of Manang (Annapurna Area) and in the District of Dolpo (one of the poorest of Nepal), on a programme of medical and humanitarian aid aimed mainly at children, fertile women and porters.

The long term project Tilicho Medical Research Expedition is also concerned, there where it is actively involved, with the development of an environmentally compatible joint-tourism, and the creation of cultivation incentives aimed at enhancing the bio-diversity of the zone, and improving the area's hydric-resources, together with whatever else may be of assistance to the population, always keeping in mind however respect of their traditions and tutelage of the environment.

The multiple activities of Tilicho NGO require the help and collaboration of many professional and non-professional persons, all of whom are equally important and indispensable for the realisation of our medical-humanitarian project. So as to continue and follow through with our project, we need the collaboration of medical doctors, nurses, engineers, videomakers, architects, surveyors, agronomists, translators, mountain lovers and all of those who desire to donate time and resources to a less fortunate and distant neighbour who does not shout out his desperation from the rooftops to the world.
